In addition to four years of dental school, pediatric dentists attend a 2-3 year residency program to dedicate themselves to treating children from infancy through the teenage years and all the relevant and changing conditions that occur throughout. A child’s physical, psychological, and emotional growth and development are areas of expertise addressed in their specialty education, as well as training to work alongside pediatricians and in hospitals with children of all medical history backgrounds. While some children come to see the pediatric dentist via referral from a general dentist when, for example, there is a cavity, most parents have their kids come to see the pediatric dentist from the beginning, same as seeing a pediatrician – to make sure their kids get the absolute best care! As a board-certified pediatric dentist, Dr. Jadin lends his robust knowledge and gentle skills every day to every patient.
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends taking your kiddo to the dentist as soon as their first tooth appears or when they’ve had their first lap around the sun! Prevention is the name of the game and we want to talk to parents about cavities and how to properly care for your little one's oral health all while beginning to establish a great relationship with your child! Sometimes the first visit goes the same way as a first haircut, but in the same way, your child will soon learn that "going to the dentist" is normal, easy, and fun to do!
At PlayWell, we seek to help kids foster independence, courage, and pride in their accomplishments. By introducing your little one to Dr. Jadin early, they’ll develop a genuine relationship with their dentist, garner great oral habits that last, and look forward to a life of easy, fun, and confident visits!
The PlayWell Membership Plan has your kiddo covered with the quality pediatric dental care they need and deserve to grow well with bright oral health. Check out our plan perks and give your child the gift of a beaming smile by joining our patient family today!
